Spit:

I've just realized that spit floats on water. One of those little things colouring my life. I guess it could be a well known affair, 'cause many of us spits when the occassion calls for it. It's like a united-nations passtime; can't find anything to say - let a hairball do the trick. Works every time. Heh.
