Internet News reports that Playboy has announced a new idea to the growing iPod market: iBod. Their mission objective is to "put the sexiest girls next door in the palm of your hand".
Our concern is for the society as a whole. What immediate implications we might suffer from such an outrageous use of this Apple device, that we fear is bound to happen, we can only speculate. Will pornography flourish yet again? And how will this affect our children, in whom we trust to bear our world in the future?
The main concern regarding this issue is the probability of an increase in births all around the globe. May iBod over-populate the planet by promoting sex and bunnies? We can only speculate.
We were notified by the Search Engine Journal about this threat, and immediately published a paper on our concern for the development of blogaddictivity. At the time of writing it is suspected that the number of Americans blogging have passed the 10 million border, over half of these men.
Our main concern is that people are actually blogging more about their lives than actually necessary. This will lead to a reduced life expectancy for the regular internet user, since he or she will waste valuable time on uninformative blogs and weblogs unable to expand the reader's horizon. No official office have responded to our concerns yet.
We don't even dare to run a check on the total number of blogs on a global basis.
