Even though ten thousand men would shout his praise would he not smile.
Nor would he throw bread to
the masses of the Colosseum.
He would preach the truth of his philosophy,
and the people would laugh
behind his back.
But what was said when he died at
the last crusade?
"The Gods have lent us one of theirs,
and now he's taken back.."
