Going to Scotland the coming wednesday, at 4 a.m in the morning.
Despite the early rise, I'm really looking forward to it, as I've only once
been in Great Britain, and never in Scotland.
Just got home from work. Damn am I tired and hungry! And what do I
do now except from updating my blog and bitch about my sore neck?
I work some more!! Seriously, nor apoet.no or sjovegan.no has been
updated for quite a while now, partially because I haven't had the time and partially
because in all the hustle and bustle I've forgot it. I'm sorry! But now I
can proudly present the updated pages:
  • w w w . a p o e t . n o

  • w w w . s j o v e g a n . n o

Check out the link above! This is the longest musical composition ever made,
with the suitable name As slow as possible (ASLAP).
John Cage's composition really lasts 20 minutes, but he wondered how long
it could be made to last. The finished plan makes it 369 years long, where every
note will be played one-and-a-half-year. If everything goes right, the play will
be finished in 2640, with a scheduled pause in 2319. Check it out at Halberstadt.

Sigg3 @ the keyboards  Technician J?ran  Our vocalist, ?ivin doing his thing:)

Tomorrow I'll continue my history project on the crisis
between Cuba and America during the Cold War. It's really small* events that
caused the whole thing. (*small when put in an international political context)

    Sigg3 o 0 ( A+ - Enjoy yourself )

Oh, and I forgot to tell you that we're leaving for
Scotland next wednesday. Me and the rest of the English class.
We walked-through the program and I'm really looking forward
to a break from it all. I'm going downtown* today to get me
    some Scottish/British cash and travel-insurance...
A couple of new blogs (by me) is under construction
as we speak. I'm going to release more info later, so stay tuned!
(*well...it's about 1000 persons living here. Town may not be the right word:)

So, what's been happening, you ask?
Well, alot of work. A couple of webdesign-assignments.
Recording. Beer. More work. Now? Sleep.

Here's the mission statement of Students for protecting America:
In recent months the "anti-war" movement has claimed to represent
the voice of the world, and particularly of students and youth.
Our purpose in founding Students for Protecting America is to declare that these
groups do not speak for everyone. We believe that in the aftermath of September 11,
Americans can no longer remain complacent in the face of terrorism and the
proliferation of weapons of mass destruction among rouge states.
The threat we face is as grave as any that we have encountered.
We support the Bush Administration's efforts to defend America and defeat terrorism.
We believe Iraq poses a dire threat and should be disarmed immediately.

    - Wankers..

Sigg3 o 0 ( Today we know that the Milky Way contains more than 100 billion
stars and that there are some 100 billion galaxies in the Universe.
Why wrap up such a great party, if we were the only one invited? )

We've history-class maintnant, and we've been going through the steps
of conflict-analysis. In addition we've found ways to and from peace.
I just wanted to make a short comparison with something of what we found out
and todays situation between USA-Iraq. Please comment my steps!
Main reasons for war or conflict:
    1. Regional conflict or territorial conflict (the US of A wants more land? No.)
    2. Ethnical conflicts (the USA wants to avenge the 11th-tragedy, by killing muslims,
    or whoever they find responsible*)
    3. Economical reasons (oil, water, food etc.. USA wants oil, that's for sure)
    4. Religious conflict (no reason to believe in a Holy war**)

*This might not be the actually responsible persons. I mean: Saddam vs. 11th of September?
That's like saying Ghandi was a Soviet spy. But who knows?
**Holy war is defined by two different religions at war, and the one doing
the holy thing is defending themselves. Now, shot me if you think I'm wrong, but
isn't Islam, Christianity and Jews (?) a chain of the same religious background? I think it is..
    Bush didn't do his homework:)

Now for the real bugger: What is war?
Definiton: A violent conflict where one consequence is a loss of at least 1000 human lives,
which spans over a certain amount of time.
    (freely translated)
This definition is quite good, but let's say Norway attacked Denmark for no reason whatsoever,
and we did this over a week killing 600 people. That would be a war, wouldn't it?
So, after my own definition; war is no-peace
and peace? Peace is no-war*. Hence, peace hasn't existed since man arrived..
    * after the Romans: Pax = Absentia Belli

So what is really going on nowadays? - Preparations for war would be a good answer,
I suppose. Why? Saddam (the bitch) may have a couple of nuclear missiles that can
go longer distances than Saddam's weaponry has been allowed. Bush (the assbitch) has
been granted a great deal of power by the American people, since they all took
11th of September personally (who wouldn't?), something Bush (assbitch) could feed
himself politically fat on. How? This is an old game. Very old.
If you want to keep your own citizens happy, make them face an enemy outside the
borders instead of inside them. Like during the great hunger in Great Britain before
the first world war, when the government kept the people focused on what went on with their colonies.
Works just fine. Bush (assbitch) wants to keep something he refers to as terrorism* as
his fellow American's enemy. And sadly it works. Or at least it did.
When you wake up from a long night of drinking, you see the wrongs of the night before and
do what you can to make it right again. In this case; by opponing the crusade of Bush (assbitch).
Too bad some are still sleeping...
