Sigg3 o 0 ( Dirty Oppland - Vi liker deg ikke ) Hi there! Just got home from work, damn tired.... Here's a photo of Mephisto and his band, Yo maté a Kenny from Chile:
These guys have recorded a demo, which I've been so lucky to check out, and it really rocks. It's funny, though, that grunge can wander far distances from Seattle, as in my ex-band's case to Norway and now proved also to South America. Music is universal. So is beer. Cheers! Friday, April 11, 2003
Sigg3 o 0 ( DonMartin - Pissing against the Wind ) Hiya ya'll! What's up peeps? :P Easter is upon us like sneaking cancer, but my vacation hasn't begun just yet I'm afraid. This morning I cleaned up two bathrooms and tidied up our livingroom as we're expecting guests with children + a dog this easter. Quite annoying, but hey! Family is family. Last evening I, Jon and Kornelius recorded four radioshows for Jon's Easter feat. called Top Music. We played everything from Tom Waits to Daft Punk and talked alot about music, consequences of fame, drugs, easter, and we even did a couple of amateur interviews. It was really fun, and as far as I could understand, the shows are to be broadcasted at the local radiostation throughout the Easter. Well, I'm off to the café. See you! Tuesday, April 08, 2003

Edited a few grammatical aspects of Kornelius' last post on Good News. The newspaper has also been updated by McGrupp, with Good News' latest article: March Madness

Sigg3 o 0 ( Don Martin - Pissing against the wind ) Added a link to DonMartin & Co. War: The US Empire and it's henchmen are waging war on Iraq and Afghanistan, more will probably come soon. This is neither because they fight for freedom nor because Bush is stupid. It's due to US economical necessities - the ruling economy of the world. DonMartin recommends British writer George Monbiot's article Too Much of a Good Thing and A Wilful Blindness for better a understanding of what drives the wheels of the war machinery. The test went fairly well today, wrote 5 handwritten pages on travelling and how your identity can and will change through it, and how it happens anyway if you stay (rationally) awake at home. But it didn't go as smooth as my last mock exam, had no breakthrough-inspiration so to speak. I've also filed my tax-report, giving me a $50 extra cash in June:P I know I'm lucky. Believe me. Sigg3 o 0 ( Tito and Tarantulas - Carachas Anjodas ) I had a great day considering my quite entertaining hangover this morning/afternoon. Went to work and earned a good deal of money, smoked cigarettes, had junkfood for dinner, got a cool book from a good friend (Det nye Selvet), saw a great documentary on african lions, ate some cake too, slept a while. All in all, allthough not a perfect day, but a good one.. Added a link to www.alcoholreviews.com. Great! Oh, I've forgot to tell you why I was so sick this morning. Well, as you've probably guessed I partied all night long. From 8 p.m me, Kjell, Arne, Vanja and Jøran begun with a funny vorspiel carefully blended with a slight touch of crême de Dream Theatre. Then we headed to Stine in a crowded car and spent some hours there discussing, ditching, dancing, drinking.. I also had the honor to meet Stine's two polecats: Raptus and Swiffer, quite charming animals indeed. At twelve or one a.m we headed back into town to team up with da people in the pub. It was quite crowded in there too, but since I'd had a bit too much to drink already I stayed cool and didn't dance too much. I think I spent the whole night discussing a lot of things with Vanja and my classmate Reidun. Well. Tomorrow I've a mock exam in nynorsk ("new norwegian"), which is the less used lingo of our two official ones, and just the one I happen not to master. But I'll pull it through somehow. Wish me good luck! :)
Painted this while waiting for a connection. Hangovered title: Prayer (Nirvanica) Oh, and it's my birthday today. yahoo? I'm hungry. |
