That's it. In exactly 25 minutes I'm in the car heading for the airport. I don't know when or even if I get to update Sigg3 dot net, but stop by every once in a while and just maybe I've written a short update:)

Either way, it's only about a week, I'll be back till the 2nd of July. See you then, if not earlier!
Take it easy!

Sigg3 o 0 ( Onkl P & Jaa9 - Stank ass Ho )

Okay, to fill you in on the situation;
1) I've finished Senior High School by taking the 2 English alt. A oral exam yesturday, at which I did well.
2) I'm going to France this Saturaday.

1. Well. I read for two days, showed up @ school yesturday at 2 p.m only to discover that my preparation and examination didn't begin until 5:30 p.m. Did alot of that hanging around, that smoking cigarettes, that surfin' the 'net, but all in all I did nothing. Waiting is funny sometimes, but this time it was a drag. I mean, I wasn't nervous to do the exam or anything, I just wanted to get it over with.

When it finnally got to be my turn, I was restless from coffe and coke:P But I entered the whole affair prepared to give what I could. Firstly I'd 25 min. of listening to an extremely boring tape of an American talking about the befores and afters 9/11. Then 35 min. reading an article on the new trend of low voter turnouts in the U.S., and some questions on the political system of America from a democratic point of view.

Then there was the examination itself. All I can remember was that I said "From my point of view" and "(..) on the other hand(..)" a great number of times, and that the examiner when supposed to talk about the American political system etc. asked me about the Welfare in the United Kingdom. He'd done a mistake, of course, but hey! I'd read my part of the prescribed English texts, so I went on in about 10 minutes before they stopped me and apologized on their behalf. Now, I thought of this as a good thing, since I wasn't even supposed to talk about the British Welfare system (or partially lack thereof). Then I returned to the task at hand, performed well, without gaping too much at the population of America. Finally, there was a short analysis on J.B Priestley's An Inspector Calls, which I've done so many times before I could do it while sleeping.

2. Going to France? Again? - Yes! I love the countryside of France, haven't actually been to any larger cities of France, so that's the only thing I can speak of. The pittoresque villages, the mood between the neighbours etc. etc. I'll tell you more about it later. It's time for breakfast and spending some time with my brother and sister.

It all went as expected - very well.
Now, free from school, vacation, to La France!

Hi there! I'm sitting at school, it's 2:45 pm and my oral exam won't begin until 6:30 p.m. What to do? Well, I could prepare for once, but since that's all I've been doing the last couple of days I'm pretty fed up with anything stuffed into a schoolbook. Tonight at 7 p.m it will all be over, though. The last exam and the only thing stopping me from celebrating the fact that I'm finishing Senior High School this friday, will be over then.

Hmmm... Summer holiday is coming up fast. It's even sunny today, so I think we'll have a barbecue this night with my family. My sister just returned from Bergen (a city further South in Norway) last night, but it won't stop me from cheerin' to the fact that I _am_ finished with the mandatory school. From now on I'll do what I want.. Well, that's not entirely true. I'm going to work all summer, *sigh*, then to Cuba for three months, *allright!*, but then there's 14 months of serving my time in the force. I'm not going into the actual force, since I am somewhat of an opposition to armies in general, but still I'm giving away 14 months of my life to my beloved country. It really pisses me of.

Well, I'll wrap it up now and read some more on American and British politics, multiculturalism and the welfare of our two most well-known English speaking countries. I'll let you know how it went as soon as it's over. See you.

There's been a lot of fuzz going on at FIX lately, since I was stupid enough to initiate something without councelling the elders. Well, as all readers of Sigg3.net should be aware of, I do take my liberties when it comes to what I present to you at this blog, however, when concerned with FIX-related topics I do show some extra respect since FIX is an (entirely?) open community. You all know about the FIX elections (see previous posts) but what you don't know is that I actually made a separate page for the democratic election that will take place some time during July. Some people disliked it, some people didn't, and all in all I think my initiative created close to 30 posts over a few days. This is how E11even described it (copied with permission:)

»»» Either way, the page has been removed from the 'net. (Sigg3)

»» Now perhaps we could remove all of the messages this somewhat insignificant
»» event generated. I hope everyone enjoyed expending the following energy:

»» 1. Sigge copied the info. Made a page (not perfect). Got permission from
»» three.
»» 2. At least five people got so heated you'd think he fucked their mother.
»» A flurry of (sometimes annoyingly long and pedantic) messages.
»» 3. Page was removed.

»»Victory -- hooray. Now, we've returned to where we were before said page was
»»made. We're all so much wiser -- I'm wiser that some of you are pure a**hole
»» *wink

» May I quote you on my website? (Sigg3)

Sure - and as for me, no need to ask for permission _as long as it is in
context_.

Like,
I heard the strangest thing at a party last weekend,
'This summer, I was thinking of getting my testicles laminated.'
--
Well, he insisted on me keeping the last part too...:P

Check it out! A work of art.sigg3.net (MIND THE GAP) has become useful for someone:) Yo maté a Kenny has decided to go for a coverdesign for their (Demo) EP which is based on this picture. Read it all in fluent Spanish and check out the changes over at this part of the web!

Sigg3 o 0 ( "False face hide that what false heart doth know." - Macbeth, Shakespear )

Four days since I posted anything and this with reason(s). Today, or yesturday from a technically point of view, I was handpicked to have an oral exam in English II alt. A the coming wednesday. So, trying to figure out what to do I though: why not check out some of that Shakespear fellah? And I did. The long dead writer spoke to me of kings and villains centuries ago, far north in the Scottish highlands. But the theme itself, and the multiple underlying themes, is classic - hence timeless, and can easily be adopted to a 'modern' scene. I am inspired.

What joy to greet friends from afar! Something Con-Fu-Tze (Master Zhongni, Confucius etc.) supposedly has said, nevertheless or either way, he is right. As seasons turn towards summer too as far north as to my village, friends long gone to persuade fame and glory returns to meditate and rebuild (especially from an economical POV). So, as a contradict, it is time for me to leave for a while; France, Lyon, Taizë - here I come! I'm leaving friday the 20th to return some 7-9 days later, not sure. If I'm lucky I'll get meself a phonecard and access to an internet booth, like I did last year, and tell you what's going on. If you have no clue about what I'm going to do in Taizë, or _what_ Taizë represents, check out these articles found at me.sigg3.net\diary\taize 1 & 2:
Taizë 2002 (warning! No frames will cause designflops:)
One week in peace, Taizë 2001 (same goes for this one)

But you'll probably hear from me before I leave somehow. If not, fare thee well too, to destinations unknown by heart or mind!
